When a child, I was awakened by the sound of a bear growling inside the house. You know that loud roaring sound that “Gentle Ben” would do on television.
Was there a bear in the house in the middle of the night?
I grew up in rural Minnesota, where there are two seasons; humid mosquito buzzing summers and below zero “hope your car will start” winters. Wild animals would occasionally appear out of the woods behind our house and quietly disappear before a neighborhood dog would awaken us all. As would often happen on a hot dead air summer night, I would sleep with my window open and dream about central air conditioning. One night I was jolted awake to a loud scream. As a kid, half awake, I thought someone was being electrocuted outside. That is when I learned that soft and fury rabbits can scream when attacked.
Did you ever hear a rabbit scream?
Back to the bear. As I was thrust back into wakefulness, I realized it was my dad snoring as I had heard him before. My dad could fall asleep, anywhere and anytime. He was a serviceman for Cummins Diesel, would work outside for only 20 minutes at a time with wind chills down to 50 below zero in the iron ore mines. When coming home from work before supper he would sit in the wooden spindle handled recliner from Ethan Allan and instantly fall asleep. Snoring would begin, and my visiting friends would be entertained by the intermittent silence before the next snort and resumption of breathing.
Little did I realize that I was watching my dad’s life expectancy shorten by 5 to 15 years.
Too late, but never too little, I have discovered the solutions to treating snoring, sleep apnea, and the prevention of earlier death caused from it. This is why, for you or your loved ones to find out before it is too late by clicking the order button below.
